Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for using Control Stack. Since Control Stack operates as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for store owners, and as a hosting framework for online storefronts, we maintain separate policies for platform subscriptions and storefront transactions.
1. Subscription Plans (Store Owners)
As a store owner subscribing to one of our premium tiers (Pro, Business, or Premium), the following terms apply:
- Free Trial: We offer a 14-day free trial on our Starter/Pro plans to evaluate the features before initiating a paid subscription. You will not be charged during the trial period.
- Billing & Renewals: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or yearly cycle depending on your choice. Your card or payment option will automatically be charged on your renewal date.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard settings. Upon cancellation, your storefront will continue operating on the premium features until the end of your current billing period. After the cycle finishes, your store will fall back to the limitations of the free tier.
- Refunds: Payments are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds, pro-rated credits, or cash value transfers for partial months of subscription usage or unused premium features.
2. Storefront Customer Purchases (End Users)
Control Stack provides software enabling store owners to launch storefronts and accept payments directly (via UPI, Bank Transfer, Razorpay, or Cash on Delivery).
- Direct Transaction: Any transaction, order placement, or payment made on an individual store hosted on Control Stack is strictly a direct contract between the customer and that specific store owner.
- No Liability: Control Stack does not manufacture, stock, package, deliver, or handle refunds for any products displayed on tenant stores. We cannot initiate, mediate, or process refunds for payments settled to the store owner's personal accounts or merchant gateways.
- Store Support: Customers seeking a refund, cancellation, exchange, or return of products purchased must contact the respective store owner directly using the contact details, email, or WhatsApp chat link provided on their storefront header or order invoice.
3. Exceptions
In cases of platform billing errors, duplicate charges, or processing issues originating directly from Control Stack’s payment gateway provider, please reach out to us at billing@controlstack.com within 7 days of the charge. We will investigate the issue and process refunds if a billing discrepancy is found.
